Local Account Executive (Remote, US)

Job Summary

Drives growth in the existing book of business through client-facing re-enrollment, up-sell/cross-sell activity and facilitates resolution of escalated service issues for key brokers and accounts.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Responsible for contributing to sales growth goals through strong relationships with existing clients, and working collaboratively to develop solutions that improve enrollment growth opportunity.

In partnership with other market/sector sales professionals, proactively manages pre-renewal communications with the goal of enhancing re-enrollment effectiveness to drive persistence and profitability.

Responsible for recognizing cross sell and up-sell opportunities for new business and obtaining growth on the assigned block of business.

Attends/co-facilitates on-site, stewardship meetings to influence the renewal process; participates in finalist presentations and may offer pre-sale support.

Understands and leverages Aflac’s enrollment capabilities, services, and tools.

Develops and communicates ongoing enrollment strategy with both internal/external partners.

Works with career associates, brokers and clients to gather enrollment requirements, e.g., enrollment dates, number of employees, benefit participation rules, plans to be offered, type of systems currently used, SLA’s, enrollment type and key milestone dates.

Job Summary

Responsible for the retention, growth, and an increase in existing account premium within assigned Market Operation.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Ensure each field role (RSC, DSC, Associate) understands and executes the Market Operation’s Asset Management strategy including but not limited to the below:

Build off of MKD expectations and how each role executes the Market Operation’s Asset Management strategy and have regular (monthly or as needed) communication with RSCs/DSCs/Associates to ensure there is understanding as to the strategy and their role in execution.

Conduct regular calls with RSCs/DSCs to ensure leading indicator activity is occurring and progressing and results are present; alert MKD of habitual defectors.

Provide detailed data & insight to MKD/RSC/DSC for accountability conversations

Monitor activity, evaluate data and results, and communicate opportunities and recommendations to MKD, RSC, and DSC

Partner w/ WWHQ and Market Trainer(s) to deliver training related to Asset Management to include but not limited to the below:

Record lagging indicator opportunities and use them as training topics for Coordinator Meetings/Veteran Training; provide training topics to MKT for use during MIPS

Attend MIPS each month in a RSCs office ensuring to rotate monthly; provide insight and recommendations to enrollment barriers, provide assistance with prep and monthly deliverables.

Serves as a subject matter expert in the design and development of associate and coordinator training materials related to account set-up, post enrollment excellence, account servicing, and open enrollment.

Monitors and evaluates training programs, processes, and/or practices for quality and effectiveness; facilitates workshops/training programs for the field force to develop the knowledge, skills, and abilities of coordinators and associates, broker collaboration, and veteran training
