Work Designation. Depending on your location within the continental US, this role may be hybrid or remote.

  • If you live within 50 miles of the Aflac offices located in Columbus, GA or Columbia, SC, this role will be hybrid. This means you will be expected to work in the office for at least 60% of the work week. You will work from your home (within the continental US) for the remaining portion of the work week. Details of this schedule will be discussed with your leadership. 
  • If you live more than 50 miles from the Aflac offices located in Columbus, GA or Columbia, SC, this role will be remote. This means you will be expected to work from your home, within the continental US. If the role is remote, there may be occasions that you are requested to come to the office based on business need. Any requests to come to the office would be communicated with you in advance.

Education & Experience Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • Six years of job-related experience.
  • Three years in a senior professional/leadership/supervisory capacity.

Or an equivalent combination of education and experience

 

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Acts as a subject matter expert, assisting in the planning, development and presentation of partnership and sponsorship programs for executive leadership, sales, sales support personnel and sales training staff; assists in the development of marketing plans to support and drive sales and utilization of product/services.

 

  • Forms strategic business alliances to support cross marketing and alternate distribution opportunities; serves as the subject matter expert for assigned partnerships by monitoring established metrics; makes recommendations for succeeding in newly established markets; analyzes data and information to determine Aflac’s strategy to remain competitive.

 

  • Manages facilitation of contract negotiations, setup, maintenance, and closure with new and existing partnerships; creatively builds relationships, product/services enhancements, pricing approaches, and value-added services to attract customers.

 

  • Formulates, prepares, and implements plans and strategies for the strategic partnership roadmap contributing to the achievement of sales performance and financial objectives; oversees the progress and evaluation of assigned partners through the product/services life cycle; prepares requirements defining scope, features, functionality, and output; oversees the coordination of all activities relative to the development of potential partnerships; determines criteria used in screening partners and prepares complete proposals for management action.

 

  • Manages the communication process to effectively and efficiently communicate to Aflac’s producers and headquarters personnel, including an explanation of all support materials; works with cross functional teams to develop programs and marketing campaigns.

 

  • Develops metrics to track performance patterns and meets or exceeds market benchmarks; evaluates the effectiveness of product/service performance and makes recommendations for changes or improvements.

 

  • Maintains and provides researched view of competitive landscape to include insight into competitive pricing, benefits and sales practices; develop cost/benefit assessment of each opportunity, present and drive recommended opportunities through governance process.

 

  • Performs other related duties as required.

 

Total Rewards

The salary range for this job is $100,000 - $125,000. This range is specific to the job and salary offers consider a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including, but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and peer compensation. The range has been created in good faith based on information known to Aflac at the time of the posting.

 

At Aflac, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role to allow for future and continued salary growth, and compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case. This salary range does not include any potential incentive pay or benefits, however, such information will be provided separately when appropriate.
