Job Summary

Manages the creative services function of Communicorp including a team of designers, digital media analysts and graphic artists; direct the process of digital advertising and marketing campaigns

 

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Leads the development, creative concept, and execution of print, social and digital advertising; responsible for integrated campaigns; ensures consistency with branding initiatives, which deliver on required business objectives and marketing metrics

 

Responsible for media creation for Communicorp, Aflac and Commercial Clients, including but not limited to print, display advertising, direct mail, product brochures, online videos directed to consumer and employer audiences; manages the design, development and inventory of marketing collateral projects and works with assigned project teams

 

Mentors and leads a team of designers, digital media analysts and graphic artists to ensure all creative projects are consistent with Communicorp and/or client branding and are produced and executed with accuracy, timeliness and quality

 

 Ensures design deliverables align with project objectives and identifies business requirements, providing art direction and creative feedback on Communicorp Branding projects or Client campaigns guaranteeing visual consistency

 

 Responsible for ad hoc presentation development requests from Aflac and Commercial Clients

 

 Performs other related duties as required

 

Education & Experience Required

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field

 

Five to six years of job-related work experience

 

Four years in a lead or supervisory role

 

Or an equivalent combination of education and experience

 

Job Knowledge & Skills

• Strong personal computer skills with experience in Mac based applications such as Adobe Creative Suite and relevant Windows-based software

 

• Knowledge of graphic design and practicum in design technique (required); possess an extensive knowledge of graphic fundamentals, print and web capabilities; practicum in graphic design technique, as well as marketing and advertising principles

 

• Familiarity with cultural trending and current events

 

 • Experience in project management of the creative process, from concept to execution

 

• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communications and team facilitation skills to interact effectively with senior and executive management, as well as internal and external customers

 

• Ability to participate on multiple teams at one time, while maintaining a high level of customer service and focus on commitments; ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously and balance priorities effectively
