You will work from your home (within the continental US) for the remaining portion of the work week. Details of this schedule will be discussed with your leadership.

What does it take to be successful in this role?

  • Demonstrated ability in photography, film editing, processing production, and sound recording

 

  • Abreast of latest event technologies, with the ability to incorporate these in to event experience

 

  • Demonstrated ability to stage, light, and edit video productions

 

  • Excellent communications, organizational, and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with Aflac’s senior management and internal and external business contacts; ability to exhibit and maintain professionalism in accordance with corporate standards

 

Education & Experience Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field
  • 6+ years of professional work-related experience in an audio/visual production environment
  • 3 years in a leadership/senior/supervisory capacity
  • Demonstrated project management experience in large-scale corporate special events and productions

Or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for scheduling events and tracking their status through the various stages of development; performs workflow management and sets schedules for completion of assigned tasks; manages the pipeline flow, timelines and on-schedule delivery for events

 

  • Provides expertise in implementing the overall creative, technical and logistical elements for a successful event; responsible for event design, building strategies, audio/visual production, networking, logistics, partner sourcing, asset management, budgeting, negotiating, and client services; identifies, sources, and manages necessary vendor support

 

  • Collaborates and works effectively with both internal and external client teams to deliver event programs that drive results against established strategic objectives, timelines, and financial goals; provides day to day support for team members on event support services and live event productions; manages production crews, audio/visual equipment and cast; ensures quality assurance administration

 

  • Partners with clients to determine event details and guide expectations to ensure a successful event; manages and maintains client relationships on production related issues; consults with administrative staff, business partners and division leaders on the use of media for training and other purposes; conducts site inspections and client walkthroughs

 

  • Ensures that the activities and objectives of the department are accomplished in a timely, efficient, and professional manner; manages production crews, equipment, and cast in the studio and on location by determining the placement and movements of performers, crewmembers, lights, camera, microphone, props, and sets; acts as a consultant to the company in matters relating to corporate events and audio/visual productions

 

  • Plans and develops video programs and on-site production by transforming training and other objectives into production ideas; determines format, approach, content, and level of presentation that will be most effective in meeting objectives while remaining within budget and time constraints; directs the production of a wide variety of mediated materials; operates and supervises the operation of a wide variety of audio/visual equipment

 

  • Tracks budget cost throughout project and communicate scope changes that effect budget; provides consultative services to staff and division management on the use of media for training and other purposes; oversees facilities management of studio and equipment

 

  • Motivates, coaches, and develops team; trains, develops, and identifies employees’ training and resource needs; establishes priorities; schedules daily work; monitors the quality and quantity of work performed by the department

 

  • Performs other related duties as requested

 

Total Rewards

The salary range for this job is $95,000 - $125,000. This range is specific to the job and salary offers consider a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including, but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and peer compensation. The range has been created in good faith based on information known to Aflac at the time of the posting.

 

At Aflac, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role to allow for future and continued salary growth, and compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case. This salary range does not include any potential incentive pay or benefits, however, such information will be provided separately when appropriate.
