Worker Designation – This role is an onsite role. You will be required to work at the Aflac Support Center (ASC) Building in Columbus, GA during your set working schedule.

What does it take to be successful in this role?

• Basic to intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Excellent AutoCad skills

• Intermediate PowerPoint skills or similar software

• Ability to research and analyze new technology and make recommendations to management for design team use

• Possession of a current valid driver’s license and adherence to all aspects of Aflac’s driving policy required

Education & Experience Required

• Bachelor's Degree In Interior Design or related field
• 2 or more years of related experience
• 2 years AutoCad experience
• Knowledge of ADA, OSHA regulations and all building, fire, and safety codes

Or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

• Provides office design layouts and space planning for both renovation of existing properties and new construction that optimize space utilization and support diverse workstyles.

• Creating furniture plans, systems furniture install/modification drawings, and design presentations by use of AutoCad or other software

• Assists with the preparation of presentation materials using PowerPoint or other design software for interior design projects. Works with staff to keep standard documents up to date with specifications, quotes, pictures / photos ect. Works with management to generate specifications for furniture orders.

• Conducts regular furniture assessments to evaluate condition, usability, and alignment with workplace needs.

• Maintaining accurate records of business unit locations within office spaces.

• Developing and maintaining a material sample library for accessibility and categorization.

• Performs other related duties as required

Total Rewards

The salary range for this job is $50,000 to $65,000. This range is specific to the job and salary offers consider a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including, but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and peer compensation. The range has been created in good faith based on information known to Aflac at the time of the posting.

At Aflac, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role to allow for future and continued salary growth, and compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case. This salary range does not include any potential incentive pay or benefits, however, such information will be provided separately when appropriate.
