Work Designation. Depending on your location within the continental US, this role may be hybrid or remote.
- If you live within 50 miles of the Aflac offices located in Columbus, GA or Columbia, SC, this role will be hybrid. This means you will be expected to work in the office for at least 60% of the work week. You will work from your home (within the continental US) for the remaining portion of the work week. Details of this schedule will be discussed with your leadership.
- If you live more than 50 miles from the Aflac offices located in Columbus, GA or Columbia, SC, this role will be remote. This means you will be expected to work from your home, within the continental US. If the role is remote, there may be occasions that you are requested to come to the office based on business need. Any requests to come to the office would be communicated with you in advance.

- Effective interpersonal skills for collaboration and communications across the organization
- Knowledge of information security policies and principles of information handling and protection

Education & Experience Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Business Administration or related field
- Six or more years of information security, communications or related work experience
- Three or more years of managerial or supervisory experience
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Education & Experience Preferred
- Certification in CISM, SANS
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Develops program communications such as employee-wide notifications, executive program updates, and coordinating external communication responses.
- Collaborates with teams across Global Security to effectively develop and implement communication strategies and change management processes.
- Partners with internal teams to ensure proper communication, implementation, and completion of mandatory security and privacy training for employees, contractors and producers.
- Coordinates the creation and dissemination of phishing campaigns. Ensures proper phishing campaign metrics and reporting. Coordinates the application of required accountability frameworks.
- Establishes relationships with cross-functional leaders and teams to improve the quality of security awareness programs while appropriately balancing business impact and benefit.
- Brings new and creative ideas and energy to the program by remaining current with emerging security capabilities that improve awareness programs and expand security messaging.
- Leverages various teaching methods and various technologies (LMS, webcasts, etc) to deploy security awareness programs and trainings to global audiences.
- Collaborates with Global Security teams to develop presentations for delivery to enterprise-wide or role-based audiences.
- Partners with other teams across Global Security to enhance awareness activities.
- Plans, organizes and coordinates effective security awareness expos and events.
- Manages and implements the Cyber Inspire Outreach Program. This includes, but is not limited to, organizing, scheduling and facilitating meetings and events.
- Develops, collects, and analyzes metrics for awareness campaigns in terms of reach, impact, and change in behavior to determine effectiveness and influence strategy/direction.
- Creates and implements a metrics framework that effectively measures and communicates the status of training, particularly phishing training and role-based training for the enterprise.
- Gathers and presents testing evidence to support controls, regulatory and maturity testing.
- Performs other duties as required.

This compensation range is specific to the job level and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. The range has been created in good faith based on information known to Aflac at the time of the posting. Compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case. This salary range does not include any potential incentive pay or benefits, however, such information will be provided separately when appropriate. The salary range for this position is $83,000 - $193,000.
