PLADS IT Audit & Compl Analyst

Job Summary

The IT Audit/Compliance Analyst is a key part of our technology team helping ensure our IT Controls are in place, tying in our compliance requirements to our solution, and providing audit oversight to continuously test our controls and adherence to IT regulations and policy

 

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Interacts with management to determine audit requirements

 

Develops and build processes to support controls

 

Leads and participates in internal/external audits

 

Maintains audit documentations according to established standards

 

Prepares audit reports for management

 

Partners with the appropriate personnel to document the planned remediation steps and estimated completion date

 

Responsible for corrective actions for noted issues by either facilitation of discussions, or by being directly involved in the process

 

Serves as a subject matter expert on key internal controls, procedures, and workflows

 

Researches compliance and security standards and provides applicable controls to satisfy regulatory or customer needs

 

Creates and maintains security and compliance policy documentation

 

Participates in Security/Compliance discussions as well as RFP responses around IT Security and Compliance Controls

 

Performs other duties as required

 

Education & Experience Required

Bachelor's Degree in I.T. or a related field

 

3 years of experience in Information Services including knowledge of auditing principles, auditing standards, IIA standards and Sarbanes Oxley requirements

 

Experience writing and executing IT General Controls

 

Experience with Group Life and/or Disability

 

Experience working in a Scrum/Agile environment and solid foundation in software development practices

 

Experience with Salesforce/Salesforce Admin (Preferred)

 

Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
