Worker Designation – This role is a remote role. This means you will be expected to work from your home, within the continental US. What does it take to be successful in this role?
• Experience in business consulting, business analysis, agile delivery, operations support, project coordination, or related functions.
• Experience working in cross-functional environments supporting business initiatives and delivery activities.
• Working knowledge of agile methodologies, business process analysis, and project delivery concepts.
• Strong communication, collaboration, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while supporting multiple stakeholders and priorities.
• Experience developing business requirements, user stories, process documentation, or reporting preferred.
Education & Experience Required
- Bachelor's Degree In business administration, computer science, Operations, or a related field
- 8 or more years in business consulting, business analysis, agile delivery, operations support, project coordination, or related functions.
- Claims industry experience
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Education & Experience Preferred
- UX design experience
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
• Partners with business and technology stakeholders throughout the agile delivery lifecycle, including requirements gathering, user story development, testing support, implementation activities, and post-release follow-up.
• Supports cross-functional initiatives by coordinating project activities, identifying dependencies, and assisting with issue resolution and communication efforts.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to document business needs, functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process workflows.
• Acts as a liaison between business and technical teams to support alignment of business objectives and solution delivery activities.
• Provides consultation and support regarding business processes, agile delivery activities, customer experience initiatives, and operational improvements.
• Supports backlog refinement, sprint planning, stakeholder meetings, and other agile team activities as needed.
• Prepares project updates, status reporting, implementation communications, and supporting documentation for stakeholders and leadership.
• Assists with evaluating business processes, operational challenges, and customer feedback to identify improvement opportunities and solution recommendations.
• Coordinates with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to support implementation readiness, testing activities, and business transition efforts.
• Contributes to change management and operational readiness activities through stakeholder communication, documentation, and support efforts.
• Supports analysis of operational metrics, reporting needs, and process performance to assist with continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintains effective working relationships across business, operational, and technology teams to support project and delivery objectives.
Total Rewards
The salary range for this job is $120,000 to $145,000. This range is specific to the job and salary offers consider a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including, but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and peer compensation. The range has been created in good faith based on information known to Aflac at the time of the posting.
At Aflac, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role to allow for future and continued salary growth, and compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case. This salary range does not include any potential incentive pay or benefits, however, such information will be provided separately when appropriate.
