Worker Designation – This role is a remote role. This means you will be expected to work from your home, within the continental US. If the role is remote, there may be occasions that you are requested to come to the office based on business need. What does it take to be successful in this role?

• Strong knowledge and demonstrated experience with financial analysis and related valuation methodologies

 

• Strong knowledge of statistical data analysis, statistical quality control, and experimental design and ability to prepare statistical studies and trend analysis using internal and external information to demonstrate relevant changes or improvement

 

• Advanced understanding of business fundamentals and an understanding of quantitative business-based analysis and metrics

 

• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication and team facilitation skills to effectively interact with senior management, internal, and external customers

 

• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Powerpoint

 

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

 

Education & Experience Required

  • Bachelor's Degree accounting, business administration, finance, or a related field
  • Four years work related experience

Or an equivalent combination of education and experience

 

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

• Develops appropriate analytical models, reports, and metrics to drive business decisions; evaluates proposed projects to determine cost, benefits, and feasibility; coordinates process measurement requirements to ensure efficient and effective use of information resources; modifies the planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes accordingly

 

• Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of sales compensation programs, policies, practices, and processes to ensure continuous improvement, compliance, and adherence to business and system requirements; recommends improvements to achieve and deliver high quality, value added services

 

• Makes recommendations for new programs/program changes, understanding competitive programs and market trend; aligns existing strategic/business plans and go forward with sales compensation programs to identify gaps and/or area of opportunity

 

• Ensures sales compensation programs are consistently administered in compliance with organizational policies and procedures and governmental regulatory requirements

 

• Acts as a liaison between Sales Compensation and the field for sales compensation related issues to ensure strong relationships are developed and maintained; serves as a resource to interpret policies and procedures for sales compensation programs; stays abreast of industry trends regarding sales compensation

 

• Leads or participates in projects focusing on implementing, upgrading, or enhancing the sales compensation systems; maintains and applies internal controls, and documents process requirements, business processes, process flow, and systems enhancements; ensures that processes, reporting and other activities are in accordance with established company policies and procedures and regulatory guidelines

 

• Prepares management reports defining and evaluates problems; summarizes third party research reports and studies

 

• Coordinates meetings, webinars, conference calls, training programs, and education sessions related to sales compensation programs

 

• Provides data for the development of sales compensation programs; works with management in providing metrics strongly impacting the company and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the data; assists organization with recommendations to change current programs, procedures, or promotional efforts based on sales research and new trends; provides demographic analysis and forecasting by region, state op, or border state, etc.

This compensation range is specific to the job level and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. The range has been created in good faith based on information known to Aflac at the time of the posting.  Compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case. This salary range does not include any potential incentive pay or benefits, however, such information will be provided separately when appropriate. The salary range for this position is $57,000 to $145,000.
