Work Designation. Depending on your location within the continental US, this role may be hybrid or remote.

  • If you live within 50 miles of the Aflac offices located in Columbus, GA, this role will be hybrid. This means you will be expected to work in the office for at least 60% of the work week. You will work from your home (within the continental US) for the remaining portion of the work week. Details of this schedule will be discussed with your leadership. 
  • If you live more than 50 miles from the Aflac offices located in Columbus, GA, this role will be remote. This means you will be expected to work from your home, within the continental US. If the role is remote, there may be occasions that you are requested to come to the office based on business need. Any requests to come to the office would be communicated with you in advance.

Education & Experience Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • Six years of professional job-related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the analysis of production and bonus payments by channel for the creation of deferred acquisition cost ratios; serves as a finance and expense advisor on all strategic projects and initiatives; partners with Sales Operations teams regarding the creation and evaluation of sales bonus tracking and reporting for all programs.

 

  • Oversees the end- to end bonus expense forecasting process; includes the input of data, target attainment model builds, output of data, performance review, full documentation, change management, and reporting.

 

  • Assists in the creation and formulation of spending plan; defines, monitors, analyzes, and reports on objectives/performance and resulting link to the organization’s long-range and strategic plans; coordinates the development and management of processes for the identification of the strengths and weaknesses; drives corrective action when performance does not meet targets for strategic objectives; researches and integrates industry best practices for strategic planning.

 

  • Collaborates with management to help identify variances in strategic objectives; provides guidance to affect change; evaluates and positively influences roll out timing and scope to suit business needs; ensures and assists in the management, reporting, and attainment of projected benefits after implementation; leads the periodic process to re-evaluate and refine the long-term strategic plan based on performance to date and changing business conditions.

 

  • Reviews requests for all Sales Contests, provides budgetary approval; coordinates Sales Compliance to assist in validating and ensuring accuracy of results through audits of reporting logic, peer review and a commitment to quality control; ensures proper reporting process and control documentation is developed and maintained.

 

  • Performs management reporting and analyses of financial and operating data, including cost[1]benefit analyses, and performance assessments; develops business/financial forecasts and projects; prepares updates, progress and variance reports, and other ad hoc reports for management reporting; identifies issues and proposes solutions.

 

  • Manages facilitation of Public Sector contracts/subsidies; includes the setup, maintenance, payment and closure with new and existing partnerships

 

  • Performs other duties as required.

 

Total Rewards

The salary range for this job is $80,000 - $100,000. This range is specific to the job and salary offers consider a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including, but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and peer compensation. The range has been created in good faith based on information known to Aflac at the time of the posting.

 

At Aflac, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role to allow for future and continued salary growth, and compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case. This salary range does not include any potential incentive pay or benefits, however, such information will be provided separately when appropriate.
