Work Designation. Depending on your location within the continental US, this role may be hybrid or remote.
- If you live within 50 miles of the Aflac offices located in Columbus, GA or Columbia, SC, this role will be hybrid. This means you will be expected to work in the office for at least 60% of the work week. You will work from your home (within the continental US) for the remaining portion of the work week. Details of this schedule will be discussed with your leadership.
- If you live more than 50 miles from the Aflac offices located in Columbus, GA or Columbia, SC, this role will be remote. This means you will be expected to work from your home, within the continental US. If the role is remote, there may be occasions that you are requested to come to the office based on business need. Any requests to come to the office would be communicated with you in advance.

What does it take to be successful in this role?
- Excellent presentation, oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills to effectively interact and negotiate with internal/external customers and senior management
- Understanding and working knowledge of enrollment practices to drive usability and participation for both agents assisted, call center and self-enrollment methods.
- Knowledge of voluntary products including the plan design/structure and compliance requirements for enrollment.
- General understanding of core benefits, e.g., medical, dental, vision, 401K, etc.
- Proficient experience and knowledge of 3rd party enrollment platforms.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and the ability to collaborate with business unit customers, IT, and management to reach a common agreement.
- Strong consultative skillset including problem identification, solution development, and selling the solution to customers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with both sales teams and technology partners.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to evolving technological landscapes.
Education & Experience Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business administration, information systems or a related field
- Four to six years of professional job-related work experience; Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of insurance sales, and benefit administration processes, with proven experience in the insurance industry, including a strong understanding of Aflac products and services.
- Proficiency in various technology platforms

Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Supports business development activities across all distribution channels, including broker partners and customers directly.
- Assist in the development of strategic planning for platform partners with market insights and intelligence from their distribution area.
- Collaborates with sales teams including broker sales professionals and implementation team members on case setup implementation, and enrollment.
- Assist in identifying new business opportunities, market trends, and emerging technologies through team communication and market observations; leverage insights to inform the business strategy and decision making.
- Acts as an advisor/consultant within digital distribution for platform technology partners.
- Works with appropriate teams to develop a corporate case build strategy and manage the relationships of Aflac’s preferred case builders.
- Ensure case builds requirements are met for account opportunities.
- Facilitates training activities for the assigned distribution area(s), including collaboration across internal teams to ensure alignment, understanding, and support as needed.
- Liaison with Aflac’s operational teams to solve internal problems and address root cause; proactively identifies issues or challenges that may arise for our internal and external partners.
- Supports contract negotiation for assigned relationships and assist with executing strategies for platform partners; assist in managing and evaluating the performance of relationships via predefined KPI’s, and identifying opportunities for improvement.

This compensation range is specific to the job level and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. The range has been created in good faith based on information known to Aflac at the time of the posting. Compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case. This salary range does not include any potential incentive pay or benefits, however, such information will be provided separately when appropriate. The salary range for this position is $72,000 - $167,000.
