Work Designation. Depending on your location within the continental US, this role may be hybrid or remote.
- If you live within 50 miles of the Aflac offices located in Columbus, GA or Columbia, SC, this role will be hybrid. This means you will be expected to work in the office for at least 60% of the work week. You will work from your home (within the continental US) for the remaining portion of the work week. Details of this schedule will be discussed with your leadership.
- If you live more than 50 miles from the Aflac offices located in Columbus, GA or Columbia, SC, this role will be remote. This means you will be expected to work from your home, within the continental US. If the role is remote, there may be occasions that you are requested to come to the office based on business need. Any requests to come to the office would be communicated with you in advance.

What does it take to be successful in this role?
• Knowledge of 3rd party enrollment platforms
• Knowledge of electronic file testing
• Understanding of Enrollment Technologies, including 3rd party enrollment software providers’ offerings and requirements, as well as key trends and players in the enrollment technology space
• In depth knowledge of Aflac products and systems related to account management and enrollment
• Strong analysis and communication skills (both written and verbal); an in-depth knowledge of effective program change control, knowledge of full project life cycle systems development, and project management methods and practices
• Excellent presentation, oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills to effectively interact and negotiate with internal/external customers and all levels of management; ability to maintain professionalism

Education & Experience Required
- Bachelor's Degree In business administration, computer information science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 8 - 10 years of professional job-related work experience
- Business experience to include 5 years in a supervisory/managerial capacity leading diverse work groups and five years of strategic consulting and project management experience in a complex/diverse business environment
- Experience successfully leading business and technological projects in a dynamic environment
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Education & Experience Preferred
- Master's Degree In a related field
- Experience in the insurance industry
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
• Drives and manages the operational goals of the Enrollment Operations teams, providing oversight of system compatibility for 3rd party enrollment systems for the business and customers; analyzes trends in enrollment system technology and the impact of emerging technologies on the business; performs testing required for 3rd party enrollment setup and integration; provides assessments and solutions to address enrollment system and business issues; manages vendor contracting while ensuring the development of high-quality, low-cost enrollment solutions aligned with customer and business needs; establishes relationships with vendors, employees, and key stakeholders (internal and external)
• Manages the development and delivery of 3rd party integration content; ; provides enabling technologies to improve the performance of multiple business processes as well as to increase revenue and profitability; provides training for Pre-Sales, Broker Relationship Executives, and other internal business partners, to ensure accurate representation of Aflac’s 3rd party capabilities, sales positioning and use of new and existing enrollment systems
• Manages the coordination of the development and implementation of requirements gathering, case build, and 3rd party platform testing for accounts and career associates; oversees presentations to clients, brokers, consultants, and the field force to demonstrate the capabilities of the enrollment system; manages an account’s overall health and benefits’ offering; establishes technical guidelines for all supported accounts; stays abreast of data trends pertaining to the team’s enrollment activity, systems and processes • Manages the testing, review, and processing of incoming electronic files; identifies technical capabilities needed by the Integration team to deliver an enrollment experience consistent with the objectives of the business units; leads and manages delivery of enrollment capabilities; works with IT to create business requirements from desired capabilities, and serves as the project sponsor for delivery of tools; works with enrollment implementation teams to identify internal capabilities to improve enrollment delivery effectiveness and performance
• Manages and plans activities at the department level and oversees enrollment technology initiatives for multiple business processes/ functions
• Manages services provided to internal and external customers (may focus on a specific business segment of moderate complexity) and the alignment, development, and implementation of 3rd party enrollment system planning and initiatives to support business strategy, to include analyzing emerging technologies and translating implications of the new technologies into an effective IT strategy for the business unit
• Contributes to and influences the development of standards and decisions regarding changes to systems/applications and provides technical and business expertise; possesses a combination of business, behavioral, and technical leadership skills, the most important being an understanding of the customers’ business needs, processes, and functions
• Possesses the ability to create and communicate Return on Investment presentations, with an end goal of obtaining the buy-in of executive leadership for additional funding to keep the technology and service offerings competitive

Total Rewards
The salary range for this job is $120,000 to $160,000. This range is specific to the job and salary offers consider a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including, but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and peer compensation. The range has been created in good faith based on information known to Aflac at the time of the posting.
At Aflac, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role to allow for future and continued salary growth, and compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case. This salary range does not include any potential incentive pay or benefits, however, such information will be provided separately when appropriate.
