Worker Designation – This role is designated as a remote role. You will be expected to work from your home, within the continental US. Although this role is designated as remote, there may be occasions that you are requested to come to the office based on business need. Education & Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field
  • 8 - 10 years of professional job-related experience
  • 5 years management or leadership experience.

Or an equivalent combination of education and experience

 

Education & Experience Preferred

  • An in-depth knowledge of Aflac Group business and processes and procedures within the Broker Channel and Career Channel sales teams, as well industry trends is important for the candidate in this role.
  • 5 years sales experience.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading the development and execution of strategic frameworks that support sales operational activities related to marquee clients – defined as large case opportunities, and opportunities with direct relationships to senior Aflac executives (i.e. President, U.S. Operations); this includes RFP input and review, cross-product line collaboration, finalist meeting coordination and execution, and tracking of required follow-ups to ensure timely delivery.
  • Develops project plans, allocates resources, and tracks progress to ensure successful project execution for activities related to marquee account opportunities. Provides sustained cadence of reporting and visibility on the progress and health of marquee opportunities for sales teams and senior/executive leadership, and oversees development of future enhancements to provide additional insight.
  • Responsible for the development of a strategic framework to monitor and track ongoing stewardship meetings with existing marquee clients – defined as the top 50 clients for Aflac by inforce premium, on regular cadence. Engages key Aflac executives as needed for specific stewardship and/or other client-facing meetings.
  • Leads the marquee opportunity and senior business unit leaders in annual process reviews for RFP development, finalist meeting message creation, and other initiatives that impact marquee account opportunities. This includes leading gap-analysis reviews, post-mortem opportunity analysis, and process improvement efforts.
  • Leads cross-functional teams in sourcing insights from various market-based partners, to include but not limited to, broker partners, industry associations, Aflac sales teams, etc. – to better inform Aflac’s value proposition materials that are used to drive success with marquee opportunities and premier brokers.
  • In consultation with senior Broker Sales leaders, develops strategic plans that identify key performance indicators to measure and deliver results. Executes on project plans and implementation timelines; manages personal time and priorities to achieve goals. Stays abreast of current trends and best practices in the industry, incorporating them into plans and presenting them to the Broker Sales team.
  • Supports key activities of interest for the Premier Broker and Premier Technology teams through collaborative discussion that results in the development of strategies. Stays abreast of the needs from Premier Brokers and Technology Partners by working with various internal and external partners to identify relevant trends and other go-to-market activities that fill current gaps.
  • Demonstrates strong communication skills and relationship building strategies to foster close working relationships within Broker Sales but also with key business partners such as, but not limited to, Operations, PLADS, Dental/Vision, Growth Solutions, and Digital Services; possesses the ability to articulate and deliver information using various methods. In partnership with these key areas within Aflac, responsible for developing and maintaining a holistic view of Aflac offerings and competitor and market conditions in order to provide relevant information to Senior Broker Sales leadership.
  • Collaborates with the Broker Sales Execution & Strategy team to ensure relevant updates on strategies and activities that impact the Broker Sales team are included in various communication mediums.
  • Participates in the development of long-range strategic plans, and key broker sales development activities, by analyzing internal and external data with the goal of providing recommendations that are based on data and actionable. Determines key areas of partnership and works with teams in those areas to ensure the needs of the Broker Sales team are captured and prioritized.

This compensation range is specific to the job level and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. The range has been created in good faith based on information known to Aflac at the time of the posting.  Compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case. This salary range does not include any potential incentive pay or benefits, however, such information will be provided separately when appropriate. The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $185,000.
