Work Designation. Depending on your location within the continental US, this role may be hybrid or remote.

• If you live within 50 miles of the Aflac offices located in Columbus, GA or Columbia, SC, this role will be hybrid. This means you will be expected to work in the office for at least 60% of the work week. You will work from your home (within the continental US) for the remaining portion of the work week. Details of this schedule will be discussed with your leadership. 
• If you live more than 50 miles from the Aflac offices located in Columbus, GA or Columbia, SC, this role will be remote. This means you will be expected to work from your home, within the continental US. If the role is remote, there may be occasions that you are requested to come to the office based on business need. Any requests to come to the office would be communicated with you in advance.

• Strong knowledge of adult learning theory; full learning journeys, role-based curricula

• Proven leadership and relationship building skills to develop employees and influence change.

• Broad knowledge of Aflac’s products, services and systems.

• Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing digital training solutions and learning ecosystems.

• Strong understanding of learning technology integrations, system functionality, and digital content workflows.

• Excellent project management skills with experience leading cross-functional initiatives, defining timelines, and coordinating resources.

Education & Experience Required

• Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design, Learning & Development, Education IT, or a related field
• Aflac sales knowledge and experience
• Experience and knowledge of learning delivery and platforms.
• 8+ years of related job experience with experience in enterprise-wide rollout of new sales methodologies or tools
• 5+ years of managerial experience.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

• Leads the design, development, and delivery of training content across multiple formats to support the growth and development of Aflac’s Sales Force

• Partners with sales leadership to assess training needs, align learning priorities with business goals, and address skill gaps through targeted programs

• Applies best practices in instructional design and content development to enhance training effectiveness and engagement across delivery channels

• Oversees the adoption, administration, and optimization of learning platforms and digital training tools to improve accessibility and user experience

• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to execute training initiatives, support onboarding programs, and drive sales enablement efforts

• Monitors training effectiveness using metrics, field insights, and performance data; recommends enhancements to improve outcomes and efficiency

• Leads or supports key projects related to training innovation, process improvements, and technology enhancements

• Provides day-to-day leadership, coaching, and development for team members; supports a high performance and continuous learning culture

• Supports budget and resource planning activities to ensure efficient use of resources

• Develops communication and engagement strategies to drive adoption and sustained use of learning programs and platforms

• Performs other duties as needed.

Total Rewards

The salary range for this job is $130,000 - $162,000. This range is specific to the job and salary offers consider a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including, but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and peer compensation. The range has been created in good faith based on information known to Aflac at the time of the posting.

At Aflac, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role to allow for future and continued salary growth, and compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case. This salary range does not include any potential incentive pay or benefits, however, such information will be provided separately when appropriate.
