Worker Designation – This role is a remote role. This means you will be expected to work from your home, within the continental US. If the role is remote, there may be occasions that you are requested to come to the office based on business need. Any requests to come to the office would be communicated with you in advance.

What does it take to be successful in this role?

  • Experience writing Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) and working with Microsoft Visio and Minitab 16 or later, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  •  Knowledge of business operations, business process analysis, quality management, project management, and software development methodologies.
  •  Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to evaluate complex data, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations.
  •  Effective verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical information for diverse audiences and document processes, procedures, and business requirements.
  •  Ability to collaborate across functions, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing business needs while maintaining a high level of accuracy, customer focus, and attention to detail.

 

Education & Experience Required

  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Four years of professional job-related work experience performing business analysis, developing business requirements, using analysis techniques, writing technical and/or online documentation for end-users

 

 Or an equivalent combination of education and experience

 

Education & Experience Preferred

  • Advanced knowledge of excel or other reporting databases such as Power BI or Minitab.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develops technology and methods for random selection of files and transactions for audit by the Quality Auditors such as claims, policy service files, or calls; develops, maintains, and upgrades systems that house quality audit reviews, findings, and results; serves as administrator for the SharePoint site
  • Maps current business processes to provide a foundation for defining business requirements and activities; uses business process maps to develop technological solutions, procedures, models, and operational processes; ensures that appropriate analysis is applied to business unit and quality team issues in an effort to provide the best resolution and satisfy internal and external customers
  •  Creates management reports, gathering data from various systems and developing/establishing reports into customer friendly formats for use by management; creates and automates reports for business unit management
  •  Ensures that all changes in processes/procedures, to include new system implementation and/or upgrades are documented and communicated to the quality team and/or business unit before implementation.
  •   Maintains and keeps all records related to projects, such as scope change control documentation, cost-change control documentation, and revised requirement documents; works with project manager to notify and involve mandatory department personnel in all projects, such as Internal Audit, Financial Control, Privacy, and Computing Security Departments.
  •  Performs other duties as assigned

 

Total Rewards

The salary range for this job is $70,000 to $90,000 This range is specific to the job and salary offers consider a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including, but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and peer compensation. The range has been created in good faith based on information known to Aflac at the time of the posting.

 

At Aflac, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role to allow for future and continued salary growth, and compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case. This salary range does not include any potential incentive pay or benefits, however, such information will be provided separately when appropriate.
